Sound Magic Relaxation offers non-invasive, non-chemical, holistic methods of relaxing, reducing and eliminating stress and anxiety and helping maintain optimal health. It is Dawson Creek’s first business to offer sensory sound bed therapy, a unique method of reducing stress and preventing anxiety through the strategic use of sound waves/acoustics. Even a single short session can elevate mood and improve physiological health. Sound Magic Relaxation also provides energy work, which helps to improve and restore the body’s energy flow, and crystal clearing services.

Meet Shelley Schilds
Shelley Schilds was in banking for 15 years and was looking for a meaningful change in her professional life. She wanted to invest in something that would provide her with a future and allow her to put more of herself into her work. She drew on her passion for holistic health and started Sound Magic Relaxation in 2013, a business offering alternative health care services that were unique to the Dawson Creek area.
Starting her own business has proved to be a rewarding experience for Shelley. She appreciates the fact that, when you are a business owner, you get out of it what you put into it and that hard work makes success possible. She is also proud to be able to help busy people to de-stress and likes knowing that her clients leave feeling better than they did when they arrived.
Shelley is a loyal Dawson Creek resident. She has lived here for more than 30 years and is grateful for the small town atmosphere and casual pace of life. She loves all of the friendly residents and how people take a genuine interest in one another. She is also a fan of its many colourful and one-of-a-kind small businesses, like the Olde Creek Store. Its cultural activities and spaces, like the Dawson Creek Art Gallery, also help make the town a special place.
