Dawson Creek Golf & Country Club is a high quality golf club with a driving range, pro shop and restaurant. Their staff offer golf lessons and provide advice on how to improve your game. Their country club has a recently renovated restaurant with a covered deck and their facility is ideal to rent for large events such as weddings and smaller events such as corporate meetings.
The golf course features many demanding tee shots and offers a short course at 6,316 yards from the back tee. The greens are impeccably maintained and are excellent to play on.
The Dawson Creek Golf & Country Club was started in the 1930’s and is operated by a non-profit society and run by a board of directors. Jim Wickstrom is the General Manager and Head Professional at the Dawson Creek Golf & Country Club.

Meet President Wayne Middleton & GM Jim Wickstrom
The Dawson Creek Golf & Country Club is a non-profit society that is run by a board of directors and Wayne Middleton is an active director on their board. Wayne likes living and working in Dawson Creek because faces quickly become familiar and customers are easy to recognize. Dawson Creek's small size makes it easy to move in and around the town.
Wayne notes that Dawson Creek is lucky to have such a great recreation centre that he feels is as good as any other recreation centre in Canada. Wayne enjoys working with golfers at the club and is happy to help provide such a great golf facility for the area. He is proud of the golf course and the excellent condition of the greens.
When Wayne first came to Dawson Creek he thought it would be a temporary move but he found he liked the community so much that he has stayed. Dawson Creek is home now and Wayne plans to call it home during his retirement years too.
