Meet Tracy Lee & Terry Woodcox
Sisters Tracy and Terry are proud of their successful business, Wicked Waffles. “It had always been a dream to be our own boss,” said Tracy. They started their business in 2015 and love meeting new customers and watching them choose from the extensive menu and ultimately discovering Wicked Waffles’ delicious food. Doing business in a small town allows Tracy and Terry to get to know their customers on a personal level. They chose to build their business in Tomslake because their family lives nearby and they love the area. “It’s a beautiful place to live,” said Tracy, “surrounded by farming and agriculture.” When they aren’t busy with their business they enjoy spending time with their family.
Tracy has noticed positive changes in Dawson Creek. “Our downtown core seems to be growing with more and more local businesses,” she said. Businesses in Dawson are eager to help one another succeed. Tracy and Terry like the variety of stores in Dawson Creek and points to Restoration Love, Faking Sanity, Hug-A-Mug, Simple Pleasures, Northern Toybox, Sue’s Upstairs and the Olde Creek Store as some of their favourites.
